TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
INSULATION

The polyethylene foam assures thermal insulation from surroundings. Product is made likewise ASTM C 1427-07, type I (tubular), grade I (insulation material for use on typical commercial system non-crosslinked).

FURTHER SPECIFICATIONS

LOW DENSITY POLYETHYLENE FOAM: closed cell foam; CFC and HFC gas free.
SURFACE BURNING CHARACTERISTICS: UL94 approved (10CA19086). Currently under  ASTM E84 approval.
WATER VAPOR PERMEABILITY according to  ASTM E 96-00.
Use temperature, according to ASTM C 1427-07, type I (tubular), grade I (material for use on typical commercial system non-crosslinked).
WALL THICKNESS: 1/2 in.

SPECIAL FEATURES

OUTER SURFACE: covered by additional polyethylene skin, white, to repair foam insulation from scratches; helpful for threading.
Marking: PDM US GELCOPPER (copper pipe diameter) in. ## (progressive No.) ft.. (e.g. PDM US GELCOPPER 1/4 in.

COPPER

Manufactured according to ASTM B 280 or EN 12735-1.
COPPER UNS: No. C 12200, DHP (phosphorous deoxidized, high residual phosphorous), 99,9 %.
